PFMAC general meeting set for February

The Canadian Plastics Industry Association‘s Plastic Film Manufacturers Association of Canada (PFMAC) has announced that its winter general meeting will take place on February 10 in Concord, Ont.

The meeting will be followed by a networking session and formal French service dinner.

This year’s guest speakers include Nick Vafiadis, Business Director: Polyolefins, Chemical Market Associates Inc. with a resin price outlook; Bill Empey, Managing Partner, Prism Economics with a report on canadian plastics markets and trends; Cathy Cirko, CPIA’s Vice President of Environment and Health, who will provide a Bag Task Force update; and Antonio Diaz, Client Liaison Executive for MF Global, who will offer some advice on providing price risk management.
