Calgary, Alta.-based polymer supplier Nova Chemicals has appointed Grant Thomson to the position of president of the Olefins and Feedstocks business. He will operate from the company’s Calgary headquarters.

Blown film equipment supplier Kiefel Inc., headquartered in Wrentham, Mass., has expanded its customer service department. The company has named Scott Ryan to the new position of technical sales manager, and will be based in Nashville, Tenn.; Jamie Nelson has been promoted to the position of service manager, and will be based out of Wrentham; and Mark Smith has been appointed to the position of service technician.
