PCL appoints new president & CEO

PCL Packaging Corporation, a polyethylene films manufacturer based in Oakville, Ont., has named Ted Bowles as president and CEO.
“Ted brings to PCL a wide range of flexible packaging industry experience gained in both Canada and the US, and has demonstrated abilities in building strong and effective management teams,” Bill Swinimer, a member of PCL’s board of directors, said. “He [also] has proven success in managing multiple plant, multinational manufacturing organizations.”
Bowles was previously the president and CEO of Flexia Corporation (formerly TwinPak coating and laminating division), in Brantford, Ont.
In addition to its Oakville headquarters, PCL has manufacturing facilities in Saint John, N.B., and Delta, B.C.
