Nova to market styrene monomer in Europe

Nova Chemicals and Helm AG have signed a sales and marketing agreement for styrene monomer in Europe. The agreement, which will take effect on April 1, 2003, includes the transfer of essentially all sales and marketing for Nova Chemicals existing European styrene monomer merchant sales business to Helm AG.
Nova does not manufacture styrene monomer in Europe; instead obtains it from a variety of sources. Neither Nova Chemicals’ merchant business outside of Europe, nor Helms existing merchant business are affected by the agreement. Pricing and volumes associated with the agreement were not announced.
