MacNeil Polymers Inc., a supplier of regrind and recycled wide-spec thermoplastic materials, is looking to expand its business into Canada, after exhibiting for the first time at Toronto’s Plast-Ex show. According to general manager Adrian Carless, the Buffalo, NY-based company specializes in recycling a variety of post-industrial plastic materials, such as purgings, runners, bales and other types of scrap. It also offers size-reduction, blending and sifting services. Customers include resin producers and compounders, as well as processors.
"With the cost of virgin resin so high, everyone is looking for a price break," said Carless. "We’re looking to make our mark in Canada."
