Changes are afoot at chemicals distributor Henley Chemicals. By October, the company will have moved into a modern facility near Toronto’s Pearson International Airport that will combine its Canadian head office operations with warehousing and distribution services.
Effective with the move, the company name will change to ISC Specialty Chemicals Canada Inc. Henley Chemicals is a wholly owned subsidiary of Itochu Specialty Chemicals, which is part of Japanese-based Itochu Corporation.
"We feel that this name change is significant, as it illustrates a new beginning, a new culture and most importantly, connects our Canadian-based operations directly with the Itochu global network," says Henley president Bill Heise. Heise joined the company in August.
The new address will be 6540 Gottardo Court, Mississauga, ON L5T 2A2. Telephone numbers will remain the same
Henley’s products for the plastics industry include: foaming agents, purging compounds, plasticizers, titanium dioxide, silicone release agents, mica fillers, and ABS resins regular and transparent.
