Mag-Plastics closes U.S. business but Amsler continues parts support
Canadian Plastics
Canadian Plastics Plastics ProcessesBlow molding machinery maker Mag-Plastic Machinery Inc. has closed its U.S. office in West Chester, Ohio, but Ontario-based Amsler Equipment Inc. will continue to provide parts and support for the business.
Mag-Plastics stopped building blow molding presses several years ago, but Amsler – which is headquartered in Richmond Hill – has invested in machining equipment to support the Mag-Plastic line.
Amsler has provided service for the Mag-Plastic machines since 2014 via a partnership with AISA Inc. “Our service department continues to provide assistance for SSB-02, SSB-03, SSB-20 and SSB-20HP machines,” said Heidi Amsler, sales and marketing manager. “Spare parts continue to be available through AISA Inc. through their subsidiary located in India. Amsler will continue to act as a liaison and will assist with parts sourcing and manufacturing of new parts when necessary.”
Amsler was founded in 1994 by industry veteran Werner Amsler.
