LRM Industires, LLC (Orlando, FL) announced a development contract purchase order from Hydrogencis Corporation (Mississauga, ON) to develop and prototype a hydrogen generation system component that will push forward the commercial validation of LRM’s TermoPlastic Flowforming (TPF) technology.
TPF is a process technology for low pressure, fully automated molding of long-fiber-reinforced thermoplastic (LFRT) large structural parts. LFRT molded products can be used to replace conventional materials such as steel, aluminium, wood, fiberglass and cement across major industrial market segments.
John Verbicky, president of LRM anticipates that Hydrogenics’ generation system component will be the first of several plastic components or devices that will benefit from conversion to TPF manufacturing.
Hydrogencis recently acquired Stuart Energy (Mississauga, ON) and is a developer and manufacturer of hydrogen energy generation and distribution equipment.
