Delta, B.C.-based biocomposite compounds and sheeting supplier JER Envirotech International Corp. has signed a distribution agreement with Jamplast Inc., a Missouri-based raw materials distributor.

According to the company, the agreement will allow the two firms to jointly market JERtech thermoplastic biocomposite compounds to injection molders throughout the U.S.

The distribution agreement is for an initial period of one year, and provides Jamplast with preferential pricing upon meeting certain performance objectives. There is also a provision to renew the agreement on an annual basis.

“We are pleased with this new distribution partnership with Jamplast,” said JER president and CEO Edward Trueman. “The company brings to JER a knowledgeable, dedicated and professional sales team with a strong presence throughout t he United States and Canada. We are confident that Jamplast will significantly expedite the market penetration for our JERtech thermoplastic biocomposites.”
