Italian extrusion supplier establishes North American sales office

An Italian manufacturer of extrusion machinery is about to enter the North American market.

Torninova SRL Plastic Machinery, based in Perugia, Italy, is in the process of establishing a sales organization in Ronkonkoma, N.Y. to distribute its bubble wrap machinery.

“This entry to the market was strategically planned to coincide with the major expansion of a brand new manufacturing and assembly facility that allows for the increased production requirements of North America as well as the expansion Torninova has been experiencing throughout the world,” said Maurizio Mencarelli, general manager.

For in-line processing, the company plans to make available its Coex Bubble 10 in-line processing equipment, featuring five-layer in-line processing for bubble wrap with air barrier retention, with film widths from 1.250 mm to 3.000 mm, and production range of 600 kg/h; its Power Bubble in-line processing equipment, featuring a single extruder bubble wrap production with film widths from 1.250 mm to 3.000 mm, and production range of 500 kg/h; its Polyboll in-line processing, a single extruder application for film widths from 1.600 mm to 2.500 mm, with production range of 200 kg/h; and its Twin Bubble in-line processing equipment for production of insulation reflective material with film widths from 1.250 mm to 1.600 mm.

For off-line processing, the company is offering its Mac Bubble process, with film width from 1.250 mm to 3.000 mm, and speed of production of 60 mt/min; and its Air Basic off-line processing, for film width from 1.250 mm to 1.600 mm, and speed of production of 35 mt/min.

Additionally, the company is offering ancillary equipment for the second processing of bubble wrap and foam.
