Hot-runner manufacturer Synventive Molding Solutions has been sold by its parent company Berwind Industries to Madison Capital Partners, an investment group based in Chicago. Madison has acquired a number of plastic manufacturing companies over the past few years. Larry Geis, Madison president and CEO, said the purchase was in keeping with the firm’s strategy of buying and building industrial manufacturing companies with strong reputations.
Synventive was formed in the late 1990s from the amalgamation of Dynisco HotRunners, Eurotool and Kona.
