Intier selects EDS for product lifecycle management

Tier One automotive supplier Intier Automotive Closures has chosen EDS PLM Solutions’ Teamcenter product as its enterprise-wide product development, collaboration and sourcing platform. The new system will support 900 internal users and suppliers on three continents, resulting in a common product development and sourcing environment across the enterprise.

Intier’s new system provides a link between engineering and purchasing functions by integrating A.T. Kearney’s suite of purchasing solutions into Teamcenter.
EDS PLM Solutions incorporates the CAD/CAM offerings of UGS and SDRC, including Unigraphics, I-deas and Solid Edge brands.
