Husky Injection Molding Systems was one of only two manufacturing companies to make the fifth annual ranking of the 50 Best Employers in Canada. In a separate category, Husky was also recognized as having the best physical work environment. Husky is headquartered in Bolton, ON.
The study, compiled by Report on Business Magazine and human resources consulting firm Hewitt Associates, analyzed data from 129 companies. Scores were derived from questionnaires completed by employees, a human resources practices survey and a leadership team survey.
"Being recognized as a great place to work is important. It’s proof that investment in our facilities and in the latest manufacturing technology and equipment is paying off," says Jeff MacDonald, Husky’s vice-president of marketing.
Hewitt analyzed data from more than 64,000 employees and 1,200 leaders at the 129 companies that completed the entry requirements. Husky ranked No. 32 overall.
Husky Injection Molding Systems Ltd. is a global supplier of injection molding equipment and services to the plastics industry. The company has more than 40 service and sales offices, plus manufacturing facilities in Canada, the United States, Luxembourg and China.
