Husky appoints new president and CEO

Bolton, Ont.-based Husky Injection Molding Systems Inc. announced its Board of Directors has formally appointed John Galt, currently vice-president of operations and chief operating officer, as president and chief executive officer (CEO).
Mr. Galt succeeds Robert Schad who founded Husky in 1953. Mr. Schad will continue serving as a director and advisor on technology development and strategy.
Mr. Galt was tapped to be Husky’s new president and CEO in March of this year.
