Huntsman appoints new global management team

Polymer supplier Huntsman Advanced Materials has established a new leadership team.

The Basel, Switzerland-based company has named Harald Wiedemann as vice president, Europe Middle-East & Indian subcontinent; James Huntsman, vice president, Americas; Steen Weien Hansen, vice president, Asia Pacific; Tu Pham, vice president, Strategy and Business Development; and Christophe Struyvelt, vice president, Finance.

All appointments are effective immediately.

“Three regional vice presidents will shape their integrated organizations, while the Advanced Materials Global functions leaders grouped at the division headquarters in Basel will report to myself, Tu Pham and Christophe Struyvelt,” company president André Genton said. “I am confident our new structure will be better equipped to overcome the challenges we face in this difficult economic environment.“
