The Canadian Plastics Industry Association’s Quebec branch (ACIP) is rallying together government officials and business leaders for the first Plastics and Composites Industry Summit on Globalization and Competitiveness. Quebec’s Industry Minister, Michel Audet, has confirmed his participation.At the event, plastics industry leaders will discuss and approve an industry/government growth strategy for plastics and composites companies in Quebec. Attendees will also hear from a trade mission to China, and see the results of the most in-depth characterization analysis of the Quebec plastic industry.The all-day event takes place May 27 in Laval, QC. Organizers say the event is significant because many Quebec companies are at a crossroads in their business. About 250 attendees are expected.For information, contact ACIP at 514-499-0500.
