Zeus Inc., a provider of precision fluoropolymer extrusions, announced plans for a multi-million dollar expansion of its 83,000-sq. ft. production facility in Aiken, S.C.
Zeus is investing in new extrusion and heat sink production lines the company said will increase capacity at the plant in order to keep up with increasing global demand.
President and COO John Worley in Orangeburg, S.C. said the recovering global economy and corporations’ growing emphasis on supplier accountability, quality and supply security were additional factors in the expansion plans.
"The recent turnaround in the global economy has significantly increased demand for precision fluoropolymer extrusions in nearly all of our markets served," Worley added in a released statement to the press. "This expansion of capacity also includes duplicating key production capabilities."
