FD Plastiques is a wholly owned subsidiary of F&D Plastics Inc., which is headquartered in Leominister, Mass. Germain Archambault, a current member of the F&D Plastics staff, will head the Canadian company.
According to a press release, the company intends to retain all employees at the Lachine plant, and to continue operations after a period of renovation.
Founded in 1967, F&D Plastics has three colour concentrate manufacturing facilities in the U.S. The new Canadian subsidiary is its first plant in Canada.
