The space draw for Expoplast ’05 demonstrated that Quebec’s plastics show is on track to be a larger show than its predecessor in 2002. Comparing this space draw for 2005 with the previous draw for 2002, Tom Sockett of the Canadian Plastics Industry Association, which owns and manages Expoplast, said 12% more space is booked for the upcoming show.
"This is a very strong indicator for a good show next fall," says Sockett. Expoplast will take place October 25 and 26 in Montreal. The show moves to the Palais des Congrs convention facility this year, and will offer about 20% more exhibit space.
A two-day technical program will be organized by the Society of Plastics Engineers Quebec Section and the Industrial Materials Institute (Boucherville, QC).
