Ex-Engel officers form venture

Two long-time Engel North America employees have formed a new consulting firm for the injection molding industry. Jack Flatt, former corporate affairs officer at Engel, and Reinhard Reider, the company’s ex-vice president North American operations, have launched Quillion Corp, based in Kitchener, ON. The new company describes itself as an opportunity development and transformational consultancy to the IM industry.
In a recent release, Flatt said: "Our company helps by sourcing and selecting persuasive new opportunities, infusing money, marketing savvy and manufacturing expertise for both OEMs and processors who want affirmative change."
Reider added: "The industry is rapidly evolving. There are many exciting opportunities if one knows where to look and what to do with them and this is where we play a significant role."
