Event to focus on plastics in construction

The Canadian Plastics Industry Association is presenting a Plastics Connect event with a focus on the construction industry. The event will be held at the Alberta Research Council in Calgary on Thursday, Feb. 17 from 10 a.m. to 1 pm. The keynote speaker is Colin Reichle, executive director for Western Canada. Reichle’s presentation will look at how plastic can be used in construction to effectively lower building operation costs and improve environmental aspects. As well, the event will provide construction companies with insights into the varied capabilities of plastic processors in Western Canada.
