A new 32,000 sq. ft. expansion at Engel Canada Inc.’s Guelph, ON facility will provide the company with more space for customer technical support and training, including mold trials. According to Engel executive vice president Walter Jungwirth, the new area houses eight injection molding machines, including the company’s all-electric E-Motion machines, as well as insert molding, tiebarless and other injection molding machines and robotics.
"This expansion meets our strategic objective of increasing space and resources for Engel College, where our customers can come for training or product development work," says Jungwirth.
He notes that the E-Motion, all-electric, tiebarless is now being offered in clamping force up to 200 tons; and 300- and 400-ton versions are under development.
