Engel adds new sales and marketing executive

Engel North America has recently named Walter J. Jungwirth to the newly created position of executive vice president, sales & marketing North America. Jungwirth, who most recently held the position of director of sales for large tonnage machines at Engel’s head office in Austria, brings a strong background in electrical engineering, combined with extensive experience in global sales, marketing and customer support. Jungwirth will be based at the company’s head office in Guelph, ON and be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to expand Engel’s sales in the North American market.
“I am excited to be joining Engel North America, and about the prospects for Engel as we battle back from one of the toughest downturns in recent memory,” Jungwirth said upon his appointment.
