The SPI’s Structural Plastics division launched its new Pioneer’s Club with the induction of five members, two of which are Canadian plastics’ industry entrepreneurs and innovators, Clay Elliot and Frank Meisels.
Elliot founded Horizon Plastics, a company specializing in structural foam and structural web molding, after a career which included stints at BF Goodrich and Rubber Maid. Frank Meisels immigrated from Italy to Canada and founded FGL Precision Works Ltd., a company that makes molds for a variety of low-pressure and conventional injection molded parts.
