Dow Chemical Company has entered an agreement to promote Mobius Technologies’ new polyurethane foam-recycling equipment and technology. The agreement will provide flexible-foam producers with an economical way to recycle scrap foam, thereby reducing the costs of producing new foam from virgin materials, according to a Dow spokesperson. As part of the agreement, Dow and Mobius will jointly market Mobius’ equipment and Dow’s polyol and isocynates.
