Canadian Plastics Industry Association president and CEO Pierre Dubois has announced his retirement, effective March 31, 2003. Dubois, 62, has led the association for the past seven years, overseeing a restructuring which saw four Canadian plastics organizations, SPI Canada, EPIC, Alberta’s Polymer Centre and CPI, merge to become the CPIA.
"My tenure with CPIA will be characterized as one of the most challenging and rewarding periods in my professional career," said DuBois.
A professional search will be conducted to replace Dubois and the new incoming president and CEO is expected to be in place by April 1, 2003.
