CPIA Quebec gets award from peers

The Quebec Chapter of the Canadian Society of Association Executives (CSAE) presented its Association of the Year Award to the Canadian Plastics Industry Association Quebec Region (CPIA Quebec).
“CPIA Quebec was selected for this award for its remarkably rich life as an association,” said CSAE Quebec Chapter president Andr Garipy. “It is active in terms of services to its members. It is involved in issues that affect its industry and serves as a development agent through partnerships with various levels of government, the academic world and the business community. It has opted for vigour, leadership and innovation.”
Among CPIA Quebec’s recent initiatives are the PlastiQ Express electronic newsletter, networking opportunities and the launch of a series of productivity round tables. Executive director Odette Mercier notes that the efforts of the members of the management committee also contribute to the association’s success.
