The Canadian Plastics Industry Association (CPIA) is partnering with industry event organizer UBM to offer CPIA member companies various benefits for UBM trade shows, including the Plast-Ex and Expoplast events.
“CPIA was the founder and original owner of the Plast-Ex show in Toronto,” said Carol Hochu, CPIA president and CEO. “We recognize that this show is hugely beneficial for CPIA members to participate in and wanted to ensure that CPIA members were able to do so by securing a significant discount on booth space for them.”
Under the terms of the partnership, CPIA members will receive a 15 per cent discount on booth space at the upcoming Plast-Ex 2017 show, running May 16-18, 2017, at the Toronto Congress Centre; and a 15 per cent discount on booth space at the Expoplast 2018 show, running November 14-15, 2018, at the Palais des congress de Montreal in Montreal.
“UBM is pleased to continue its strategic partnership with the Canadian Plastics Industry Association at UBM’s Advanced Design and Manufacturing show which includes PLAST-EX, in Toronto on May 16-18,” said Steven Carlisle, manager, relationships & partnerships, UBM. “CPIA serves as the national voice and leader for plastics manufacturing and sustainability across Canada. Together, UBM and CPIA are committed to offering networking, educational and discount opportunities at UBM’s Toronto event that help plastics professionals succeed.”
