CPIA hosts Expoplast space draw, announces expanded program

The countdown to Expoplast 2008 offically began with a March 12 space draw.

The event took place simultaneously at the Mississauga, Ont. and Boucherville, Que. offices of the Canadian Plastics Industry Association .

The Expoplast show will take place in Montreal on October 20 and 21 at the Palais de congres. The CPIA noted that exhibit rates will increase after the space draw date.

Additionally, the association has announced a number of new features and expansions to the trade show. Some of the new features include the Knowledge Network, designed to connect customers with the knowledge they need to move forward; participation by end user industry associations; SPE conference real-world solutions; and Consultants Corner, where consultants will give free advise and direct customers.

This year’s show will also host the first APAC conference, an event designed to ignite partnerships and joint ventures. Additionally, the show will host a full-day track about composites, co-produced by several composites associations.
