The Canadian Plastics Industry Association (CPIA) is hosting a Feb. 3 workshop in Mississauga, Ont., designed to directly assist plastics manufacturers in reducing their energy use and costs.
According to CPIA, the workshop, made possible by funding secured through the Ontario Power Authority’s Conservation Fund, will help improve the processing sector’s cost competitiveness through energy efficiency improvements, with a focus on electricity. The measures spotlighted in the program, many available at no cost to the site, will focus on management systems improvements and identifying low-cost and no-cost opportunities.
“This workshop will consist of a number of practical demonstrations to help move your company forward in its energy management practices,” CPIA said.
Enrollment is limited to 50.
