Mississauga, Ont.-based extrusion manufacturer CPI Plastics Group Ltd., has been presented with Building Products magazine’s Most Valuable Product (MVP) award for its Eon line of plastic timber fencing.
The MVP award honors the best new product innovations of the year in the building industry.
“We are very excited and honored that Eon’s fencing was recognized as an innovative new product in the building industry,” Cliff Hatch, CPI’s director of marketing, said. “Eon fencing boasts premium design, with hidden hinges and a metal reinforcement channel. It is easy to assemble and install.”
CPI launched the Eon fencing line in January 2006.
In addition to its Mississauga facilities, CPI operates in Pleasant Prairie, Wis. The company employs over 700 people and currently manufactures out of six plants occupying a total of 530,000 square feet.
