CPI Plastics Group Ltd. (CPI), a Mississauga, Ont.-based extruder, has appointed J. David Wood, C.A., as executive vice-president and chief financial officer (CFO).
Wood will leave his current position at CFM Corp., where he was vice-president and CFO. Earlier, he was employed in senior finance positions at Magna International Inc., Dell Computer Corp., Derlan Industries Ltd., Aluma Systems Corp., and Coopers & Lybrand.
Wood assumes responsibility for CPI’s financial affairs, including capital structure, accounting and financial analysis, as well as purchasing and logistics.
CPI designs and manufactures thermoplastics profiles. In addition to its Mississauga facilities, CPI has a production plant in Pleasant Prairie, Wis. The company has approximately 800 employees.
