With less than a week until the Plast-Ex 2007 trade show, time is running out to register for this year’s events. Pre-registration for this year’s show has been extended until April 30, 2007. Plast-Ex 2007 will take place from May 1 to 3 in Hall 1, 2 and 3 of the International Centre, located at 6900 Airport Road in Toronto.

Plast-Ex will feature more than 500 exhibitors this year, and the Canadian Plastics Industry Association (CPIA) has noted that nearly one-third of this year’s exhibitors have never exhibited at the show before.

Additionally, more than 90 exhibits will feature product previews and demonstrations. The Plast-Ex Tech Showcase section in the forthcoming April and May 2007 issues of Canadian Plastics magazine will provide more details on some of the products at this year’s event.

Canadian Plastics has also included a helpful Pocket Guide for Plast-Ex 2007 with the April issue. Attendees can pick up copies of the show guide by visiting us at Booth 103, near the entrance of Hall 1. You will also have the chance to enter a draw for a free registration to this year’s Resin Outlook Conference, scheduled for Oct. 3, 2007.

In addition, our technical editor Jim Anderton will be on site, delivering an entertaining “Introduction to Plastics” presentation at 2:15 pm each day.

For more information on the 2007 Plast-Ex trade show, please read last week’s update or visit the official Plast-Ex website.
