The Toronto Construction Association’s 2004 Innovative Product/Technology Award (TIPTA) is now open to the public for competition. The TIPTA is annually awarded for innovation and creativity in the construction industry; especially for the introduction of new and advanced technologies into the market place. Past winners include Royal Group Technologies’ Royal Building System. Application deadline for the TIPTA award is September 11. For more information, contact Roger Willoughby at 905-764-2611.
Also, the Society of Plastics Engineers (SPE) Automotive Division is seeking nominations for its 34th annual Plastics Innovations Awards. Nominations are being accepted through Sept. 10, 2004 for awards in the following categories: body interior, body exterior, materials, powertrain, process/assembly and enabling technologies, chasis/hardware and environmental.
