Pittsburgh, Penn.-based auxiliary equipment manufacturer Conair has teamed up with Hamilton Avtec Inc. to market its products to Canadian processors.

Starting in September 2007, Hamilton Avtec will stock popular models of Conair equipment at their Mississauga, Ont. manufacturing facility.

“This is an important step for us to better meet the requirements of Canadian processors,” said Conair president Chris Keller in a press release. “We are now able to supply a full line of auxiliary equipment, the best technology, and the fastest service and support available to Canadian processors.”

The relationship between the two suppliers will allow for quick delivery of equipment that is customized to special requirements.

Hamilton Avtec noted that its team of 25 employees will continue to deliver localized, specialized support in the fields of installation, service, parts, engineering and manufacturing.

“Shifting to Conair equipment means we now have the full breadth of auxiliaries that just happen to be the best quality and the latest technology available,” said Hamilton Avtec president Richard Hamilton. “We now have the resources, people and variety of equipment to help our plastics processing customers promptly and effectively.

“You will now find the engineering, manufacturing and field service needed to solve even your toughest productivity problems economically.”
