Three plastics manufacturers have been selected to be among the Financial Post’s 50 Best Managed companies for 2002. The three companies are Brite Manufacturing Inc. (Bolton, ON), Injectech Industries Inc. (Barrie, ON) and Polymer Technologies Inc., based in Cambridge, ON. The awards are given to companies that have implemented world-class best practices and demonstrated strong growth over the past three years. To qualify, a company must have revenues between $10 million and $2 billion and be primarily Canadian owned.
Brite Manufacturing is a producer of pressure-treated cedar and plastic decking products and has achieved 30% annual sales growth over the past five years. Injectech Industries manufactures automotive parts and, over the past three years, has seen sales grow from $25 million to $70 million. Polymer Technologies is a supplier of plastic and metal auto parts with 550 employees and annual sales of about $50 million.
