The North American operations of Clariant Masterbatches will be under new leadership in 2005. Steve Snow has been appointed senior vice president and will assume responsibility for all Masterbatch operations in North America, including 1400 employees working in 10 plants in the United States and three in Canada. Snow has been with Clariant since 1989 and, before his appointment, was vice president/general manager for the western U.S.
Clariant also announced that Dragos Gavriluta will assume the position of vice president/general manager for Canada, with responsibility for business planning, manufacturing and sales activity. Gavriluta has been with Clariant for four years, most recently serving as senior business analyst for the U.S. West business unit. His office will be based in Toronto.
