CDS appoints new sales rep for northeast U.S.

Lachine, Que.-based extrusion equipment supplier Custom Downstream Systems Inc. (CDS) has a new sales representative for the northeastern U.S.

The firm has appointed Melinda Gordon as its territory sales manager for Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, and Virginia.

Gordon replaces Bill Maloy, who will be retiring within a few months of transition.

“Melinda brings many years of experience in the plastics industry,” CDS said in a statement. “[Working with Bill Maloy] will help her get acquainted with the territory and its customers.”

Gordon will be based out of the Lehigh Valley region, which is located north of Philadelphia.
