Lachine, Que.-based extrusion supplier Custom Downstream Systems Inc. (CDS) is adding space to expand its factory by 30,000 square feet.
The addition will bring the plants total square footage to approximately 72,000 square feet, according to marketing manager Alan Benlolo.
As a result of the expansion, the company plans to install a dedicated laboratory line, as well as new metalworking equipment for welding and machining.
The expansion comes as CDS marks its 10th year in business.
