Earlier this month, Automotive Parts Manufacturers’ Association (APMA) president Gerry Fedchun made national headlines after he wrote a letter to the federal government, imploring the government to provide nearly $1 billion in loan guarantees for suffering automotive parts manufacturers.

And in the most recent episode of CanPlastics TV, we talk to Fedchun about why he decided to ask the government for financial help, and what the response has been.

Fedchun also reacts to news of a potential GM-Chrysler merger, and recent negative quarterly results from both GM and Ford.
