CanPlastics TV: A forecast for 2009!

With 2008 behind us, many plastics companies are looking ahead to 2009. But what can you expect from the economy in the coming year?

The last year was a difficult one for every part of the plastics industry, and many of the sectors served by Canadian plastics manufacturers suffered major downturns.

We spoke with Bill Empey, an economist with Prism Economics and Analysis, who gave us a forecast for the next 12 months. Empey has spent a significant amount of time studying the impact of macro economic trends on our industry.
