Canadian Tire is presenting a free one-day seminar on product innovation for qualified Ontario manufacturers on November 16 2007, in Toronto.
Called The Spirit of Innovation, the seminar will explore how manufacturers are differentiating their products for a globally competitive environment by applying new design processes to existing product lines.
The seminar includes sessions on innovation, industrial design and new design processes, including one-on-one meetings with Canadian Tire buyers.
The seminar will feature Duncan Reith, Canadian Tires senior vice president of merchandising; Heather Fraser, director of designworks and business design initiatives at the Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto; as well as faculty from the industrial design schools at Carleton University, Humber Institute of Technology & Advanced Learning, and the Ontario College of Art & Design.
The seminar will be held at The Design Exchange, 234 Bay Street, Toronto.
