CAD/CAM software designer opens Windsor, Ont. office

Cimatron, a manufacturer of integrated CAD/CAM software for the tooling industry, has opened an office in Windsor, Ont.
The move comes in response to increasing demand for CAD/CAM software by tier 1 and tier 2 automotive suppliers in the Windsor region, where close to half of Canada’s mold manufacturers are located, according to Sam Golan, Cimatron’s president and CEO.
“We are considering following suit with additional local support offices in various concentrated tool shop geographies,” he added.
Headquartered in Israel, Cimatron has distributors in 35 countries. The company’s other North American office is in Novi, Mich.
