Blow molding equipment supplier BMPS announced a number of new distribution alliances at the Plast-Ex show. BMPS and Hunkar Technologies Inc. have entered into an agreement that will make BMPS worldwide distributor for Hunkar’s new 311 Series 2 Parison Programmer, as well as the company’s new Hydro-Jet 2 Servo Valve.
Peter Tordy, BMPS president, also announced that his company has become sole North American distributor for Container Corporation’s line of Enviroclear two-stage reheat blow-molding machines. The machines are capable of blowing oriented polypropylene (OPP) bottles at rates of 800 to 900 bottles per hour per cavity. Oriented polypropylene bottles have clarity comparable to PET and cost less to make.
Additionally, BMPS and Advanced Electrical Systems announced an agreement that will see BMPS acting as a worldwide distributor of Advanced Electrical’s rebuilt blow molding machines. At the show, BMPS displayed a rebuilt Bekum H121 blowmolding machine featuring the new Siemens PLC control model S7-300 with a PC670 operator panel.
