Belinda Stronach resigns from Magna International

Belinda Stronach, president and CEO of Magna International, resigned Tuesday from the company in order to pursue the leadership of Canada’s Conservative Party. Frank Stronach, founder and chairman of the company, will assume the role of interim president while company conducts a search for a permanent replacement.
Analysts say the move will have little or no impact on operations of the company, which consists of highly decentralized business units and operations.
