Battenfeld Gloucester Engineering appoints Canadian as president, CEO

Kurt Schneider has been named president and CEO of Battenfeld Gloucester Engineering Co. (Gloucester, MA), a designer and supplier of extrusion equipment and dies for film and foam.
Schneider’s background includes 28 years in sales and marketing of manufacturing equipment worldwide. Schneider also held the position of senior vice-president of the Pulping Products Division of Beloit Corporation.
A native of Canada, Schneider received his undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Waterloo in Ontario.
