BASF has appointed Robin C. Rotenberg as president of BASF Canada with administrative responsibility for all business in this country, including agricultural products, and nutrition, chemicals, performance products and plastics. In addition, Rotenberg will be responsible for the management of BASF Canada’s internal services such as communications, legal, finance and logistics.
"Robin will help us to optimize our businesses and service platform within BASF to add value for our customers," said Hans Engel, executive vice president and CFO of BASF Corporation.
Prior to this appointment, Rotenberg was general counsel and corporate secretary with insurance, real estate and communications responsibilities for BASF Canada. She has a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Western Ontario, as well as a B.A. degree from Queen’s University. BASF has manufacturing sites in Cornwall, Georgetown, Toronto and Windsor, ON; as well as in Abbotsford BC and Blackie, AL.
