Basell, Braskem sign development agreement

Basell Polyolefine GmbH and Braskem S.A. have signed a cooperation agreement for the development of polyethylene grades produced using Basell’s Spherilene gas-phase technology.
According to a press release, under the agreement joint development of new Spherilene polyethylene resins will be done in Brazil by Braskem facilities and in Europe at several Basell sites. Both companies will have the rights to use the developed products.
