Auxiplast is Engel’s new sales rep in Quebec, N.B., and N.S.

Injection molding machine maker Engel North America has appointed Quebec-based sales agency Auxiplast Inc. as its sales representative in Quebec, New Brunswick, and Nova Scotia.

Located in York, Pa., Engel North America is part of Austria-based Engel Group, which manufactures injection molding machines and parts-handling automation.

“It’s a pleasure to welcome Auxiplast to our sales team,” said Don Ivey, Engel North America’s director of sales, northeast. “They are a well-established company, and the team has a wide range of knowledge and experience in the injection molding industry. Auxiplast will be an excellent resource for our customers and prospects.”

Headquartered in Sainte-Julie, Que., Auxiplast was established by François Côté in 1994 to provide equipment, parts and service for the plastics industry in Quebec. In April 2016, Jean-François Continelli (president) and David Marois (vice president) took over ownership of the company.
