Audax buys Dynisco

Boston-based Audax Group has acquired Dynisco, LLC from an affliate of Madison Capital Partners of Chicago, IL. Purchase price of the deal was not disclosed.
Audax had acquired all of the Dynisco businesses, which include Dynisco Instruments and Dynisco Polymer Test, both based in Franklin, MA, Dynisco Europe based in Germany and Dynisco Extrusion based in Hickory, NC.
Audax manages a variety of equity and debt funds that it invests in companies at various stages of business growth. According to a press release, Audax intends to structure Dynisco as a platform business upon which it plans to add multiple acquisitions in companies complementary to Dynisco’s core businesses.
